After half a decade in charge of Bolton Futsal Club, head coach Stuart Cook will step down at the end of 2026, leaving behind a domestic and European legacy that saw the club rise from relegation play-offs to the UEFA Futsal Champions League.

The former England captain posted a heartfelt statement confirming the decision on social media earlier this month, with many from the futsal community showing their gratitude in the comments for his contributions to the English game.

"The journey has given me some of the best memories of my life. The people I have met, the players I have coached, the experiences we shared and the moments we created together will stay with me forever," read Cook's statement.
