'United' Genesis must be at 'physical & mental best for every minute of every game' on Champions League debut, says captain Martinez

When he moved to Genesis two years ago from Bloomsbury Futsal Club, aged 37, Angel Martinez would surely not have had the UEFA Futsal Champions League on his mind.
But later this month the Spaniard, now 39, will not only lead his side out in Athens, but do so knowing it was his penalty, against Bolton in the Grand Final, that secured the club's spot in Group F where they will face SAC Doukas, Blue Magic Dublin and Sparta Belfast.
"We know the intensity will be really high and we'll need to be at our best both physically and mentally, and perform for every minute of every game", Martinez told Total Futsal during pre-season preparations for their European adventure.
