It's finally here. The English futsal season returns. And boy are there some storylines to be written on court over the next eight months.
After some initial uncertainty following May's season finale, the summer announcement that England Futsal had been appointed to operate Tiers 1 and 2 of the National Futsal Series for the 2026-27 season has allowed the entire English futsal community to breathe a sigh of relief and prepare for another season of simultaneously loving and hating the world's greatest sport.
In the men's competition, that's 29 teams across a fully nationalised nine-team Tier 1 and two 10-team divisions, Tier 2 North and Tier 2 South.
